The Company is currently developing its flagship Murchison Gold Project, 50km north of Meekatharra. The project is a combined open pit and underground gold mining operation with an initial 9-year mine life. Site activities are ramping up now with construction underway, mining operations commencing early in 2025 and processing commencing shortly thereafter.
Mine Geologist – Open Pit
The Mine Geologist reports into the Geology Superintendent and is responsible for the open pit mining geology, grade control and exploration drilling.

Senior Mining Engineer – Open Pit
The Senior Mining Engineer – Open Pit will report into the Mining Manager – Open Pit and is responsible and accountable for all design, planning and monitoring of all open pit mines. You will also fulfil the statutory requirements as Alternate Quarry Manager in the absence of the Mining Manager – Open Pit due to commute cycles.

This pivotal role reports into the General Manager and carries full accountability for managing mine planning, geotechnical engineering, mine surveying, projects analysis whilst ensuring safety and production targets are met, and continuous improvement are achieved, enabling the business to meet its short and long term safety, production and cost objectives.

Manager – Processing
The Process Manager will report into General Manager and oversee the commissioning and operation of the CIL processing facility. You will be a capable and driven leader with a focus on safe productivity.

Senior Mine Surveyor
Meeka Metals is building Western Australia’s newest gold mine and requires a Senior Mine Surveyor to establish the survey department and provide survey capabilities for both the open pit and underground mines.
Maintenance Superintendent
The Maintenance Superintendent reporting into the Manager – Processing will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing all maintenance activities and the team to ensure the continuous availability and reliability of the Processing Plant, and other key fixed plant infrastructure.
Payroll Officer (Part Time)
Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, the Payroll Officer is responsible for administering end to end processing of payroll for both Perth Office and site-based employees. The role is flexible with a requirement to fulfil the role 2 -3 days per week.
